All books in this Web Site are a selection from stock of New Recently Restocked, Forthcoming and Out of Print Titles. Customers may order by letter, 'phone or 'fax. We have also included an order form for customers convenience. We hope that this Web Site and its descriptions are of use, not only to enable customers to choose items, but for bibliographical research purposes as well. A few items will have been listed in previous catalogues from SHIPLEYS.
Old, Secondhand or antiquarian items are indicated by the title being in CAPITAL LETTERS, these are in good (or better) secondhand condition. We have tried to give as much information as space allows, however minor inscriptions etc are not mentioned. We feel that the price reflects this. If an Out of Print book is already sold we can endeavour to find another copy for you through our Search Service.
We will trace books at no charge, however we do limit our searches to books within the broad field of Art. The Search Service can also send you copies of printed catalogues for specific subjects. A form for this is included in the Web Site.
Prices are quoted (strictly net) in pounds sterling and payment is expected in the same currency. Overseas cheques must be in pounds sterling and drawn on a London bank. Any bank conversion charges must be borne by the customer. If you can only pay in a foreign currency you must add £12.00 to cover charges. We accept payment by Eurocheque. We also accept payment by the major credit cards (Visa, EuroCard, MasterCard and American Express).

Inland carriage is charged at cost up to a maximum of £10.00 for each parcel.
Airfreight, insurance or a courier service are all charges will be invoices at cost. Overseas customers will be charged carriage at cost. Books are securely packed and sent by the least expensive method unless otherwise intructed, usually by Inland Parcel Post or Overseas Book Post.
Prices are correct at the time of going to press, however prices, especially of imported and forthcoming publications, are liable to fluctuate, regrettably usually in an upward motion, due to exchange variations and other factors beyond our control.
